Sound Anchor Three Post Monitor Stands are available in two configurations to make it easier to make this design work better with a wider range of loudspeaker designs.

If you have a speaker that has a rectangular shaped base and you want to have two posts in front and one in the back you will want a Three Post Type "A" Stand. This configuration is the most common and we recommend it for most three post applications. This stand provides three points of contact with the speaker. It also has a cross bar welded to the rear of the top Tee which does not actually contact the speaker but is there to restrict speaker movement and help keep it from being knocked off of the stand

If you have a speaker that has does not have a rectangular base or if you wish to have a single post in front and two posts in the rear a Three Post Type "B" stand will work and look better. The Type "B" stand is basically a Type "A" stand without the cross bar.


Sound Anchor Three Post Monitor Stands are hand crafted in the USA.  They are made of 14 and 16 gauge steel tubing along with 1/2 in. solid steel bar. They come pre-filled with special materials to make them acoustically dead and add mass. This ensures that the stand adds no sound character of it's own. The stands are spiked three points at the floor  to enhance stability and mass loading.  The interface between the speaker and the stand is three of our special bluedots. Sound Anchor Three Post Monitor Stands are finished in an attractive light textured black.  This finish does not attract undue attention and fits into most living spaces well.
