Sound Anchor Single Post Monitor Stands are handcrafted in the USA.  They are made of 14 and 16 gauge steel tubing along with  3/16" plate. They have an all welded  construction and require no assembly, simply take them out of the box, install the spikes and place your speakers on them. Sound Anchor Single Post Monitor Stands  are available pre-filled with special materials to make them acoustically dead, or empty for the  audiophile on a tighter budjet.  A fill hole is provided so that the stands may be filled  by the audiophile. Sound Anchor Single Post Monitor Stands are spiked at the floor to enhance stability and mass loading.  The interface between the speaker and the stand is four of our special blue dots. This interface is stable, safe and controlled 

Sound Anchor Single Post Monitor Stands are finished in attractive light textured black. This finish does not attract undue attention and blends into most living spaces well.
